Wisdom from Lee Kuan Yew

  1. If you can’t think because you can’t chew, try a banana.
  2. Don’t change ‘NO’ to ‘YES’. Don’t be a fool. If there was a good reason to say ‘NO’, it must remain ‘NO’ but the man must be told politely.
  3. If you want to reach your goals and dreams, you cannot do it without discipline.
  4. When things always become better, people tend to want more for less work.
  5. The Americans are great missionaries. They have an irrepressible urge to convert others.
  6. Every person, genius or moron, has a right to reproduce himself.
  7. I do not know of a man who became a leader as a result of having undergone a leadership course.
  8. If you deprive yourself of outsourcing and our competitors do not. You are putting yourself out of business.
  9. I always tried to be correct, not politically correct.
  10. Dear God, if today I lose hope, please remind me that your plans are better than my dreams.
  11. Dumb politicians are not the problem. The problem is the dumb people that keep voting for them
