Sayings of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali JInnah

1.     The prosperity and advancement of a nation depend upon its intelligentsia

2.     The change in the world is always brought by one man, whom we call "the leader".

3.     Think 100 times before you take a decision, But once that decision is taken, stand by it as one man.

4.     In our solidarity, unity and discipline lie the strength, power and sanction behind us to carry on this fight successfully. No sacrifice should be considered too great.

5.     No nation can rise to the height of glory unless your women are side by side with you.

6.     Our object should be peace within, and peace without. We want to live peacefully and maintain cordial friendly relations with our immediate neighbours and with the world at large.

7.     With faith, discipline and selfless devotion to duty, there is nothing worthwhile that you cannot achieve.

8.     It is your sacred duty to look after the poor and help them. I would never have gone through the toil and suffering for the last ten years had I not felt our sacred duty towards them.

9.     I have one underlying principle in mind: the principle of Muslim democracy. It is my belief that our salvation lies in following the golden rules of conduct set for us by our great lawgiver, the Prophet of Islam.

10.  You have to stand guard over the development and maintenance of Islamic democracy, Islamic social justice and the equality of manhood in your own native soil.

11.  There are two powers in the world; one is the sword and the other is the pen. There is a great competition and rivalry between the two. There is a third power stronger than both, that of the women.
