Mix Candies by Helen Keller

  1. When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us.
  2. I would rather walk with a friend in the dark, than alone in the light.
  3. The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart.
  4. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all.
  5. Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.
  6. Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, vision cleared, ambition inspired, and success achieved.
  7. Keep your face to the sun and you will never see the shadows.
  8. Although the world is full of suffering, it is full also of the overcoming of it.
  9. Be of good cheer. Do not think of today's failures, but of the success that may come tomorrow.
  10. You have set yourselves a difficult task, but you will succeed if you persevere; and you will find a joy in overcoming obstacles. Remember, no effort that we make to attain something beautiful is ever lost.
  11. What we once enjoyed and deeply loved, we can never lose, for all that we love deeply becomes a part of us.

Mix Candies from Paulo Coelho

  1. And, when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.
  2. It's the possibility of having a dream come true that makes life interesting.
  3. One is loved because one is loved. No reason is needed for loving.
  4. So, I love you because the entire universe conspired to help me find you.
  5. There is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve: the fear of failure.
  6. Waiting is painful. Forgetting is painful. But not knowing which to do is the worst kind of suffering.
  7. When we love, we always strive to become better than we are. When we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better too.
  8. The secret of life, though, is to fall seven times and to get up eight times.
  9. Everything tells me that I am about to make a wrong decision, but making mistakes is just part of life. What does the world want of me? Does it want me to take no risks, to go back to where I came from because I didn't have the courage to say "yes" to life?
  10. When someone leaves, it's because someone else is about to arrive.
  11. Everyone seems to have a clear idea of how other people should lead their lives, but none about his or her own.

  6. An apple every eight hours will keep three doctors away.
  7. An empty stomach is not a good political adviser.
  8. Any clod can have the facts, but having an opinion is an art.
  9. Any man can make mistakes, but only an idiot persists in his error.
  10. Any time things appear to be going better, you have overlooked something.
  11. A wise man can learn more from a foolish question than a fool can learn from a wise answer.
